Galilee
In ancient times, the Galilee was full of vineyards and was considered the best area for growing grapes in the region. Kings, emperors and nobles visited the Galilee to enjoy the exquisite wines.
Today, thousands of years later, the Galilee is still Israel´s finest wine making region. We at Chateau de Galilee are proud to uphold the local tradition and make this quality wine while using the most advanced technologies.

The Label
The golden rings on our wine label are taken from the famous mosaic of the Tzippori synagogue floor. There are 3 languages found in the mosaic: Hebrew - the holy language of the Torah, Greek - the international government language and Aramaic- the spoken language among the Jews of the time.
About the Winery
Chateau de Galilee is the fruition of a dream of Yossi Ben Odis - the most experienced sommelier in Israel. As a 12 year old boy, Yossi worked in a winery's warehouse to finance horseback riding - his passion at the time. Yossi dreamed of a wine series of his own that would encourage wine production in the Galilee and would create more jobs in northern Israel.
The 2016 collection includes a variety of quality wines from the fine Upper Galilee's vineyards. The manual harvest allows a careful and meticulous handling of the grapes.
